Europe and the European Union are the most commonly used words today. At the same time, we are opening the way to Europe mostly for our children’s advantage.
But this fact is also creating several tasks. For this journey we have to equip the next generation though education and let’s not forget language skills.
The attempt to teach a foreign language is being moved to lower and lower age categories. Small children, will in a playful way and in a very short time without the feeling that they are studying,
gain a good basic knowledge of language.
Our school, in its program, is fulfilling the requirements for intensive language education, as well as those set out by the Ministry of Education. Teaching is in the English language with the aid of original English text books. Only Slovak language is taught in the Slovak language, and it is in the full curriculum with the full number of lessons.
Math is taught in both Slovak and English languages.
Our school is accredited by the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic and is included in the Slovak school network. The rector of the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra has patronage over the teaching process.
Galileo would like to address parents who reject traditional forms of study, are looking for the school with an individual approach to pupils and a school in which computers and internet are integral parts of the learning process.
A low number of pupils in the class (approximately 16), quality equipment and experienced teachers who are innovative and ambitious are the guarantee of a high quality education.
